What is AI Pact Voluntary Commitments?

In practice, the AI Pact is a European Commission initiative that encourages companies to adopt preparatory actions such as governance mapping, workforce training, documentation upgrades, and testing of internal controls. These commitments are voluntary, but they are intended to help organizations identify gaps and operationalize AI Act requirements before they become mandatory.
