Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

AICompliancePulse provides free daily verified regulatory compliance intelligence. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

What data we collect

  • Email address — provided voluntarily when you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Account information — when you sign in, your name and email are collected via Clerk, our authentication provider. This is used to manage your account and personalize your regulatory preferences.
  • Anonymous usage analytics — page views and feature usage, collected only with your consent to understand how the service is used. The data is pseudonymous and aggregate: DataFast assigns a persistent random visitor ID (a cookie) and Vercel identifies visitors by a non-reversible hash, recording the page URL, referrer, device type, and coarse location as aggregate data points. We send no account identifiers, email addresses, or form contents to either analytics provider.

How we use your data

  • Newsletter delivery — your email is used solely to send the daily regulatory pulse.
  • Service improvement — anonymous analytics help us improve content relevance and user experience.

Data storage

  • Convex — stores regulatory pulse data and, for authenticated users, your profile preferences (role, jurisdictions, topics).
  • Clerk — stores your authentication credentials and session data securely.
  • Beehiiv — manages newsletter subscriptions and email delivery. Your email address is stored securely by Beehiiv when you subscribe.

Third-party services

We rely on the following services to operate AICompliancePulse:

  • Convex — real-time backend for storing and serving regulatory pulse data.
  • Beehiiv — email newsletter platform for subscription management and delivery.
  • Clerk — authentication and user management. Handles sign-in, session tokens, and account security.
  • Vercel — hosting platform and privacy-friendly web analytics for anonymous usage metrics, loaded only after you consent.
  • DataFast — event analytics for understanding feature engagement; its cookies are set only with your consent.
  • OpenAI — powers the AI analysis of regulatory documents. Source documents are processed to generate compliance summaries; no user data is sent to OpenAI.

No data selling or advertising

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third-party marketers. Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve AICompliancePulse.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function:

  • Clerk authentication cookies — HTTP-only session cookies that maintain your signed-in state.
  • Convex session cookie — manages the real-time data connection.

Analytics cookies (set only with your consent)

These are set by DataFast only after you click Accept in the cookie banner, and never before:

  • datafast_visitor_id — pseudonymous random visitor identifier (~365 days).
  • datafast_session_id — session grouping (~30 minutes).
  • datafast_session_start — session start timestamp (~30 minutes).

Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Analytics cookies are set only with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time: . Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie).

Your rights

  • Unsubscribe — every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from the mailing list.
  • Data deletion — request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@aicompliancepulse.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
